Olin D. Brown, 79, of LeRaysville, PA passed away on November 18, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 19, 1936 in Stevensville, PA the son of the late Claude and Julia J. Cannon Brown. Olin was a Veteran of the US Army. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Masonite for 32 years, prior to retiring. Olin was a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher at the Neath Welsh Congregational Church. Olin enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseshoes and bowling. He is predeceased by his brothers Delous, Gerald and Perry Brown, and sisters Eloise Hawley, Meryl Alderson, Gail Carpenter, and Leona Franklin. Olin is survived by his wife Shirley of 51 years at home, children Karen and Matthew Riggin of Crisfield, MD, Michael and Melissa Brown of Towanda, PA, and Eric and Robyn Brown of LeRaysville, PA, grandchildren Sarah, Ashli, and Kayleen Hill, Dean, Nathan, and Keegan Brown, and Cody and Kara Brown, great-grandchildren Vermeer Canuti, Harley, Skyler, and Beau Brown, sisters Frances Potter, Helen Reynolds, Doris Howett, sister and brother-in-law Irma and Hans Krohn, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10am-12pm at the Neath Welsh Congregational Church, 933 Davis Road, LeRaysville, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Church at 12pm with the Rev. Paul Blasko officiating. The family is under the care of Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in the Neath Cemetery.
