Brianna "Bree" Nycole-Puanani Eastway, 28, of Athens, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with her family by her side following a battle with cancer. She was born on December 22, 1987 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Douglas and Charlene Forton Eastway. Bree loved watching NASCAR and her favorite driver was Tony Stewart. She also loved watching the San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers. Bree was able to attend a Steelers game in November where she got to meet Jerome Bettis. She also enjoyed watching Hockey, especially the Anaheim Ducks which was her favorite team. She volunteered in Califorina at the Escondido Humane Society, especially enjoying working with the Pit Bulls which was her favorite breed of dog. Bree was very outgoing and loved meeting people and interacting with them. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Athens. She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Patricia and Patrick Donnelly, maternal grandmother Maryanne Forton, and cousin Heather Marie Kealohelani Eisert. Brianna is survived by her parents Douglas and Carol Eastway of Sayre, PA and Charlene and Charles Logiudice of Escondido, CA, sister and brother-in-law Tara Kaiulani and Louis Varela, step-sisters and step-brothers-in-law Stephanie and Bill Hubert and Alicia and Eric VanDuzer. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 3pm – 4pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, 701 West Pine Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 4pm at the Church at 4pm with the Rev. Robert Flatt officiating.
