Obituary of Mary Timm
Mary E. Timm, 71, of Athens, PA went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at home following a brief illness with her family by her side.
She was born on December 12, 1940 in Ithaca, NY the daughter of the late Russell W. and Gladys Rittenhouse Hollenback.
Mary was a member of the Church of God, Sayre. She was an active member of the Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company, a member of the Bradford County Fire Police, served as their Chaplain, and was a member of the Mountain Spirits Bird Rescue.
She is predeceased by her great-grandsons Ayden Shepherd and Dale Thomas Wade III, and grandmother Harriett Braund.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years William at home, children Charles and Wyneta Stone of Montrose, PA, Carletta Stone of Windfall, PA, Steven Stone of Tunkhannock, PA, Michael and Trudy Stone of Athens, PA, James and Kimberly Stone of Tunkhannock, PA, step-children Tina and Dale Wade of Sayre, PA, Linda Timm of Sayre, PA, and Lonnie Timm of Sayre, PA, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sister Cheryl J. Carey of Towanda, PA and brother Russell Hollenback of Towanda, PA, aunt Veronica Hollenback of Towanda, PA, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends Glenn and Debbie Smith and family.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company, 211 Herrick Ave., Sayre, PA from 2pm-4pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4pm with Chaplain Linda Rogers from Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company and the Rev. Edward Reichman from Church of God officiating.
