Obituary of Lynne Ferreira

Lynne-Marie Ferreira, 55, of Athens, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at home following an extended illness. Born on February 13, 1956 in Melbourne, FL the daughter of the late Sidney and Elizabeth Quinn Daniels. Lynne was a loving Wife, Mother and Nana. She was a former LPN who worked with Hospice patients. She enjoyed vacationing and going out to eat with her family. She is survived by her husband Richard D. Ferreira of 15 years at home. Daughter Katie-Marie and Christopher Carpenter, Athens, PA; three step daughters, Angela and Danny Headd, Foxboro, MA, Dani’ele and Aaron Day, Lompoc, CA and Tina and Melvin Dilts, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Emerald Dawn Ferreira, Cydney Grimes, Tyce Day, Dominic and Jayden Day, and Brandon and Ryan Geddings who are currently serving in Afghanistan; several great grandchildren; sister Betty and Fred Sindoni, Sayre, PA; several aunts and uncles; niece Missy Sindoni (Matthew Chapman), Sayre, PA, and nephews Michael and Kelly Sindoni, Athens, PA, Cody, Connor and Logan Sindoni. Friends and family may call Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 11am-12pm at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond Street, Sayre, PA with the Rev. Vincent Langan officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
