Obituary of Lori Potter
Lori Ann Potter, 52, of Athens Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at home after losing her battle with cancer.
She was born on April 30, 1960 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Eugene and Caresta Forbes Potter.
Lori worked at E.M.T.A., a job in which she took great pride in, however the job title she cherished most was being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and being outdoors. Lori loved spending time with family and friends, and knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face, always wearing one herself. She was the type of person that always made the best of everything no matter the situation.
Lori is survived by her son Chris Fisk of Milan, PA and daughter Jenny Fisk of Athens Twp., PA, grandchildren Briley Wheeeler and Jocelynn Fisk, brother Robin (Linda) Potter of East Smithfield, PA, nieces and nephew Rachel Potter, Adam Po9tter, and Nevaeh Austin and partner Kassia Young.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1pm at the East Smithfield United Methodist Church, Church Street, East Smithfield, PA with the Pastor Vern Jackson officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
