Reva June (Humphrey) Estes, 89, of Sayre, formerly of Athens, PA, passed away, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Geisinger Health System, Danville, PA. She was born May 27, 1923 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late Avery and Ruth Sackett Humphrey. Reva loved to spend time with her family and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Sayre, PA and loved all animals. She lived in Athens, PA all of her life. She is predeceased by her husband Clinton E. Estes, brother Carl Humphrey, and sisters Vivian West and Norrine Pipher. Reva is survived by her five children Gary (Linda) Estes of Sayre, PA, Keith (Dolly) Estes of Wyalusing, PA, Gloria (Greg) Mack of Waverly, NY, Ava (Bill) Rauch of Sayre, PA, and Deborah Estes (Kevin Leary) of Waverly, NY, ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 1pm - 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 2pm with the Rev. John Musser from the Pilgrim Holiness Church officiating.
