Obituary of Glenys Pagett

Glenys Pagett, 80, of Milan, PA, formerly of Tunkhannock, PA, passed away on December 7, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. She was born August 27, 1932 in Brynmawr, South Wales, the daughter of the late George and Ivy Rouse Amos. Glenys was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended schools in South Wales. She worked as a clerk at the A&P Store in Tunkhannock and as a Dietary Assistant for Tyler Memorial Hospital, retiring from that position. Glenys was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church, Tunkhannock, PA. She loved to play Bingo. She is predeceased by her husband William A. "Alfred" Pagett in 1976, brother Dennis Amos, brother and sister-in-law George and Barbara Pagett of Brynmawr, South Wales, and sister and brother-in-law Florence and Ernest Rosengrant of Tunkhannock, PA. Glenys is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debra and Bernard Trout of Milan, PA with whom she resided, grandchildren Meghan Catherine Trout and Courtney Rae Trout, and sisters Audrey (Donald) Beacham of Caldicot, South Wales and Nan M. Amos of Caldicot, South Wales, and sister-in-law Irene Amos of Brynmawr, South Wales, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Glenys’s request there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
