Thomas G. "Tommy" Welch, 77, of Athens, PA passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at home. Tommy was born on March 10, 1934 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Thomas W. and Thelma Zimmer Welch. He enjoyed putting puzzles together, reading, fishing, woodworking, and coaching little league. He also coached slow pitch softball. Tommy loved playing his guitar, and worked at the Ingersoll-Rand in Athens, PA for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tommy is survived by his Wife, Dorotha of 53 years; Children Dorothy and Gregg Leavenworth, Elmira, NY, Jane Stone, Sayre, PA, Carol and John Hooper, Sayre, PA, Bonnie and Jack Lineburg, Athens Township, Patti and Charlie Allyn, Towanda, PA; Grandchildren Rachael Leavenworth, Traci Wagner, Aaron (Kim) Dickson, Kieren Hooper, Jared Hooper, and Jenny, April, Annie, Jake, and Heather Lineburg, Peyton and Parker Allyn; and Great Grandchildren Thomas Dickson and Haleigh Lineburg.
