Frank G. Kilmer, of Waverly, NY passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Easton, PA the son of the late Frank J. and Jean Ryder Kilmer. Frank was employed with IBM and Lockheed Martin, Owego, NY. After retiring from IBM, he enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, and playing and studying the science of golf. In addition, he was especially proud of being a published author. Frank was a huge fan and supporter of the local teams from Little League through High School. Frank cherished spending time with his family and friends in his back yard. Frank is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Glory of 24 years at home, children Christopher (Susan) Kilmer of Apalachin, NY, Douglas Kilmer of Albany, NY, and William Kilmer of El Paso, TX, stepsons Jamie (Missy) VanDuzer of Sayre, PA, Scott VanDuzer of Sayre, PA, and Todd VanDuzer of Sayre, PA, grandchildren Emma, Colin, Taylor and Kailey Kilmer, and Brelin, Kannon, Mazlin, and Afftyn VanDuzer, Kyle Mieczkowski, and brother William (Ginny) Kilmer of Amherst, MA. Friends and family may call on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Memorial Services will be held at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 156 Chemung Street, Waverly, NY on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11am with Pastor Anne Bey Canfield officiating.
