Obituary of Marian Anspach
Marian H. Anspach, 89, formerly of Litchfield passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Highlands Care Center, LaPorte following an extended illness.
She was born in Litchfield Twp. on April 30, 1923, the daughter of the late Norman and Lula Strope Hunsinger.
Marian graduated from Athens High School and worked at Thatchers Bottle Works, Elmira, NY, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of Bumpville Bible Church. She enjoyed shopping and loved Lemon Meringue Pie.
She is predeceased by her first husband Bill Hart, second husband Fritz Anspach, sister Geraldine Babcock, and brothers Earl Hunsinger, Kenneth Hunsinger, and Glenn Hunsinger, Sr., and nephew Blaire Hunsinger.
Marian is survived by her nieces and nephews Duane and Stacey Hunsinger, Glenn and Cheryl Hunsinger, Marlene Jewett, Hilda and Dennis Taylor, Millie Coleman, Linda Fetteridge, David Babcock, David and Kathi Hunsinger, LaVerne and Jimmie Hunsinger, and Joan Babcock, and several cousins.
Friends and family may call on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 10am – 11am at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 11am.
Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
