Freda L. Tozer, 87, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Highlands Care Center, Laporte, PA. She was born on October 30, 1925 in Binghamton, NY the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Frances Coolbaugh McKinney. Freda was a member of the Church of the Redeemer. She was lifetime member of the Athens Township Fire Company Auxiliary and Fire Police and a former member and past Grand Rebecca. She is predeceased by her husband Julius and granddaughter Lucy Anne Frady. Freda is survived by her daughters Sheila (Clifford) Bennett of Ulster, PA and Debbie Phillips of Reno, NV, grandsons John Moran of Athens, PA, Josiah Bennett of Ulster, PA, and Charles Frady of AK, granddaughter Maria Jones of Ulster, PA, 6 great-grandchildren, brother Ralph I. McKinney of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Glenn Mahaffey officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
