Obituary of Ann Keegan

Ann M. Keegan, 77, of Sayre, PA passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Bradford County Manor following a brief illness. She was born April 6, 1934 in Towanda, PA the daughter of the late Thomas and Julia McDonald Murray. Ann was a world traveler as a Flight Attendant with Eastern Airlines and was National Secretary for the Eastern Flight Attendants Union. She often described the high point of her career as the time when Eastern Airlines provided transportation services into and out of Vietnam during that war "for the most polite passengers she ever served". She continued to work in the travel industry after retiring from the airlines. She was a huge fan of crossword puzzles and was a great cook. She is predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Elizabeth, and Joan and step-mother Maude. Ann is survived by her children Connie and Jerry Young of NC, Janice and Thomas Farr of Sayre, PA, John and Terri Keegan of LeRaysville, PA, Charles and Janice Keegan of Muskogee, OK, Rita and George Cori of Warren Center, PA, and Richard and Linda Keegan of NC, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brother-in-law David George of Las Vegas, NV, nephews James Daly of Sayre, PA, and Michael and Marsha Daly of Suwanee, GA, nieces Jo Ann Daly of Sayre, PA, and Cristin and Michael Thompson of Las Vegas, NV, nephews David M. and Sarah George of Los Gatos, CA, and Richard and Cindy George of Algonquin, IL. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1pm at Epiphany Cemetery, Keystone Ave., Sayre, PA with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E.
