Nancy L. Coolbaugh, 78, of Waverly, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 5, 1933 in Mansfield, PA the daughter of the late Cecil and Cordia Smith Forrest. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to work in her flower gardens and she was well-known for her beautiful knitted baby clothing. She is predeceased by her daughters Linda and Mary Rose, son Edward, and brother Robert Forrest. Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years Phillip at home, children Jean and David Lorenti of North Haven, CT, Phillip L. Coolbaugh of Waverly, NY, Ann Vough of Barton, NY, and Michelle and Randy Lee of Gillette, PA, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond Street, Sayre, PA on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 4pm – 6pm. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 6pm with the Rev. Anne Bey Canfield officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
