Donald M Reeve, age 83, of Sayre, PA passed away March 31, 2013 at Sayre Healthcare Center, Sayre, PA following an extended illness. He was born January 15th, 1930 in Bradford County, PA, the adoptive son of the late Ward and Myrle Cole Reeve. Don graduated from Sayre High School, Broome Technical College, and entered the United States Air Force. He completed pilot training in 1953 and served in Korea and Southeast Asia. After retirement from the Air Force, he held various positions as a professional pilot, finishing the last ten years of his career as a corporate pilot for NYSEG. Don was an avid walker, even entering several racewalking competitions. He also was an accomplished woodworker; one of his specialties was building Adirondack chairs. He volunteered for the Bridge charity, and for the VA Clinic, and for RPH. Don is survived by his wife Charlotte A Reeve at home, his children Donald (Patricia) Reeve of Syracuse, NY, Anne (Scott) Fell of Waverly, NY, James (Barbara) Reeve of Athens Township, PA, Robert Reeve of Bremerton, WA, and Thomas (Carrie) Reeve of Oakland, CA, also surviving are his ten grandchildren Tim, Brian and Mark Reeve, Ben and Patrick Fell, Curtis and Darian Reeve, Carly Johns, Brooke and Tom Reeve, as well as his six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1 P.M. at the Jay E Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Burial will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Don's memory to the: Alzheimer's Association, Kirby Health Center, 57 N.
