Parvin J. "Chip" Mensch, 71, of VanEtten, NY passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born September 12, 1940 in Bloomsburg, PA the son of the late Parvin V. and Lillian Stackhouse Mensch. Parvin was an avid collector of antique cars. He enjoyed western movies and music. He loved the outdoors and his beloved cat, Sassy. He is predeceased by his companion of many years Lora DePew, and infant brother Victor Thomas Mensch. Parvin is survived by his children Deborah and Marlin Walker of South Waverly, PA, Denise Stone of Athens, PA, Parvin and Valerie Mensch of Waverly, NY, Diane Mensch of Skowhegan, ME, Timothy Mensch of Owego, NY, and Kimberly Brown, 8 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. At the request of the family, services will be held at their convenience. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
