Dad and I went to your resting place today. We placed a statue that I felt truly defined my love for you!! Mother Mary holding HER SON, JESUS. It has been 21 days since you left us honey and it seems like yesterday!! The pain of your loss is more real then ever!!!!:( I am not the same son. I continue on, only because I know you would want me too!! I am so very lonely, lost and confused to why you had to leave us so soon, so suddenly!! Mike when I first heard the news I didnt believe it and I still dont want to.You and I go way back to Jr. High...we had some great times‚football games on friday night to the dance afterwards to us bein class clowns.I can say‚you gave me one beautiful niece...Morgan. She loves you so much and im sure your other kids do to.You were such b great guy‚awesome personality‚funny‚charming‚fun to talk to.I know something dont sound right about your passing because you loved your kids‚mother and father way to mvch!! Mike, I can't believe you are no longer here. It was just the other day you were helping my friend Carmen and I light her grill. You laughed and said , " You women I tell ya, jesus here let me do it." I'll never have that again because a horrible tragedy decided to take you away from our family and me. I'll never be able to have you sneak up behind me and hug me and say," Hey hey little cousin did you miss me? And smoosh your cheek against mine and laugh. I will never get a call from you asking me to come sit and talk with you. We would sit for hours and talk about how you were feeling or just about our crazy family. We both love them all no matter what crazy things have happened between them. You were the one person I could really talk to in our family. The one person who understood no matter the issue. You are our loving protective bear. You are an amazing ma. You are an amazing cousin. You are an amazing father. But most of all you are and always will be a piece of my heart. I have sat here for the past 2 days trying to think of the right thing to say. I can't come up with any words that could possibly explain how I or anybody else may be feeling by your loss. To My Cousin with All My Love Brother you and I spent most of our child hood together playing fighting and seeing what we could get into just having fun, from playing hide and seek to building tree houses and then being brave and having BB gun wars and actually trying to shot each other. Then we where seperated by states you in PA and I in NC we would then talk here and there on phone and get together and see each other when trips where made up or down the road. But one thing was always the same and never changed when you and I got together it was like no time had passed and no distance seperated us we where the good ole boys again. We would swap our story's about women and talk cars for ever and then maybe women again but always had a great time with u brother. Mikie we made a pack many many years go that no matter the issue we would look out for one another and I havent forgot that promise we made to each other. None of this makes any sense at all!! You are a year and a half older than me we have so many more years ahead of us and you have been taken from us now I ask myself why ? Only answer I can see is that The Lord needs the best first! Mikie I know u are in heaven with the King of Kings And The Lords of Lords! Surrounded by angels talking with Grandpa D, Uncle Crist, Grandma D You have gone home and in time each and everyone that loves u and knows Jesus Christ as there lord and savior will see you all again in haven. Mikie I love u and the hardest part is not being able to say good by. That is the part that is so hard for us that are still here. The few times I met you and talked to you I knew that you were a good person you didn't judge me on who my father was and still welcomed me as a friend. I know first hand how good of a dad u were and how much the babies meant to you. Just to drive from Athens to Tioga center to watch a cheerleading practice for the girls shows a really good daddy. Your father and I are more heartbroken then words could ever express!! You were our pride and joy, our life, our love!! No matter the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months or years, you will be always as missed as you are now!!
