Michael D. "Mike/Mikie" Lane, Jr., 37, of Athens, PA passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013. He was born on September 21, 1975 in Sayre, PA the son of Michael D., Sr. and Shirley J. Dauberman Lane. Mike loved spending time with his children, family, and friends. He enjoyed playing X-Box with his son and friends and building models with his son. Mike had a great love for weight lifting, restoring cars, and attending Muscle Car shows. He is predeceased by his son Anthony Michael Lane, paternal grandmother Leona Lane, paternal grandfather Paul W. Lane, maternal grandmother Betty J. Dauberman, maternal grandfather Claude S. Dauberman, aunt Patricia Lane, uncles Randy A. Lane, Donald L. Lane, and Crist N. Dauberman, Sr., and cousin Timothy Dauberman. Michael is survived by his parents Michael D. and Shirley J. Lane of Athens, PA, son Michael D. Lane, III, of Athens, PA, daughters Morgan L. Felshaw of Jacksonville, NC, Carrissa J. Lane of Towanda, PA, Zaelea Lane of Nichols, NY, Leilani Lane of Nichols, NY, and Natasha Lane of Nichols, NY, wife Gloria Lane of Waverly, NY, stepdaughter Amanda Skwiat of Waverly, NY, aunts and uncles Paul Lane, Sr. of Sayre, PA, Sandra Young of Waverly, NY, Kenneth Lane, Kim Ordway, Dawn Lane, Kenneth (Charlene) Dauberman of Athens, PA, Claude (Mary Ellen) Dauberman of Jacksonville, NC, Kathy Ann Dauberman Haulton of Athens, PA, Mike (Kathy) Dauberman of Sayre, PA, and Mary Pierce (fiancé Bryan Shang) of Seneca, SC, cousins Tammy Stedge of Bentley Creek, PA, Kelly Ann Dauberman of Athens, PA, Todd Dauberman of Jacksonville, NC, Corey Dauberman of Jacksonville, NC, Tonya Brewer of Ogden, UT, Jackie Arieno of Sayre, PA, George Pierce of Cumberland, MD, Samantha Pierce of Kingston, PA, Andrea Dauberman of Sayre, PA, Erica Stedles of Athens, PA, Garrett Dauberman of Sayre, PA, and Bridgett Dauberman of Athens, PA, and mother-in-law Karen Keller of Athens, PA. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2pm at the Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Anne Bey Canfield officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
