Charles D. "Chuck" Chandler, Sr., 57, of Sayre, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1955 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late John and Minnie Owen Chandler. Chuck was a Firefighter in 3 different Valley Fire Companies for the past 33 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is predeceased by his grandson Joshua, nephew Joe, and cousin "Brother" Kenny. Chuck is survived by his wife of 31 years Marcia at home, children Chris (Laura) Allen of Athens, PA, Vincent Allen of Sayre, PA, Eleanor Chandler of Sayre, PA, and Chuck, Jr. (Emily) Chandler of Athens, PA, 12 grandchildren, sisters Tina (Jeff) Moore of Chemung, NY, Melva (Leonard) Beatty of Sayre, PA, Margaret Reeve of NC, and Jean Womble of CA, brother Tim Anderson of Athens, PA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Chuck’s request there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
