Lori Lyn Widrig, 36, of Milan, PA passed away at home following an extended illness. She was born February 22, 1977 in Sayre, PA the daughter of Frederick and Cindy Ellis Thomas. Lori was a 1995 graduate of Athens Area High School. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting angels, and solving crossword puzzles. Lori is predeceased by her father Frederick Thomas, maternal grandmother Eleanor Ellis, paternal grandmother Jewel Plass, paternal grandfather Frank Thomas, and uncle Douglas Thomas. Lori is survived by her husband of 19 years Gerald Widrig, children Cindy Widrig of Wilawana, PA, Kevin Widrig of Wilawana, PA, and Elizabeth Widrig of Wilawana, PA, mother Cindy Widrig grandparents Arthur and Sandy Ellis of Ulster, PA, siblings Michael Thomas of Milan, PA, Ruth Thomas of Elmira, NY, and Jason Widrig of Elmira, NY, aunts and uncles Ruth Ables of SC, Carl and Dianne Thomas of WI, Margaret Brooks of FL, great aunt Laura Sharp of Sayre, PA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 11am – 12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 12:00pm with the Rev. Jeff Bisher officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA.
