Patricia Joyce "Patty" Eberlin Kunkle, 28, of Monroeton, PA passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2013 at Towanda Memorial Hospital. She was born January 17, 1985 in Mt. Holly, NJ the daughter of Damon E. and Marion Volz Eberlin. She was the oldest of ten children, 6 boys and 4 girls. Patty was a loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, and sister. She was a social butterfly with a tremendous group of friends. Her life revolved around spending time with her children, family and friends. The 4th of July was her favorite time of year so her mom always called her "Firecracker". She was very close with her dad, who lovingly called her "PJ". Patty will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She enjoyed reading, spending time on her computer, all types of music, and a great love for all animals and wildlife. Patty volunteered with the Boy Scouts and at her children’s school for their activities. She is predeceased by her niece Zoe Serenity Eberlin. Patricia is survived by her husband of 8 years Scott at home, sons Keegan and Damon Kunkle at home, daughter Aurora Kunkle, parents Damon and Marion Eberlin of Sayre, PA, maternal grandparents Francis and Patricia Volzof Manahawkin, NJ, paternal grandparents Joyce Eberlin of Monroeton, PA and Alden Eberlin of Sayre, PA, maternal great-grandmother Madglene Volz, siblings and their spouses Marc and Kara Eberlin of Scranton, PA, Samantha Eberlin and fiancé Andrew Johnston of Sayre, PA, Micheal Eberlin and fiancé Megan Quinn of Sayre, PA, Eric Eberlin and fiancé Tiffany Robinson of Barton, NY, Hunter Eberlin of Sayre, PA, Matthew Eberlin of Sayre, PA, April Rose Eberlin of Sayre, PA, Lily Eberlin of Sayre, PA, and Wyatt Eberlin of Sayre, PA, aunts and uncles Francis A. Volz of Manahawkin, NJ, Matthew Volz of Manahawkin, NJ, Brett Eberlin of Mystic Islands, NJ, Ginger Becker of VT, Vincent Eberlin of Towanda, PA, Tammy Mergen of New Albany, PA, and Jonathan Eberlin of Monroeton, PA, .nieces and nephews Autumn Eberlin, Trinity O’Donnell, Devon Stiehl, Mionti Eberlin, and Ella and Alex Eberlin, and special friends Lois and David Woodruff, Patick Woodruff, Lacey Vanderpool, Ashley Cooper, Christian Welles, and Adam Douglas. Friends and family may call on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 12pm – 1pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 1pm with the Rev. Brian Wright officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
