Andrew L. "Big Andy" Vanderpool, Sr., 61, of Sayre, PA passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at home unexpectedly. He was born January 10, 1952 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Paul and Sara VanCise Vanderpool. Big Andy was well known around Sayre, PA, especially by the children as "Poppie". He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV. He is predeceased by his 2 sisters Linda and Barbara. Andrew, Sr. is survived by his children Andrew L. Vanderpool, Jr. of Sayre, PA, Kenneth Vanderpool of Sayre, PA, and Christina (Stanley) Platt of Sayre, PA, several grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
