Joan F. Greeney, 76, of Sayre, PA passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at home. She was born on August 5, 1936 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late William and Alice Wren Miller. She is predeceased by her husbands’ Allen Ellis and James Greeney. Joan is survived by her sons Mark (Nancy) Ellis of Sayre, PA and Chad Bessette of Rochester, NY, and two sisters. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
