Obituary of Edwin Reynolds

Edwin H Reynolds, 88, of Sayre, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. He was born November 27, 1924 in Waverly, NY the son of the late William and Isabelle Stevenson Reynolds. Edwin was formerly employed with U.S. Steel American Bridge Works, until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and especially spending time with his children and family. He is predeceased by his first wife Freda, second wife Euletta, sons James Reynolds and Steven Reynolds, and daughter Joanne Reynolds. Edwin is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Thomas and Tammy Reynolds of Sayre, PA and Eddy and Amy Reynolds of Greentown, PA, grandchildren Randy and Michelle Reynolds, Wade and Amanda Reynolds, Brian Reynolds, Anthony Reynolds, and Shawn and Marlene Reynolds, Stephanie Whitehead, Laura Whitehead, Tommy Reynolds, Jr., Cindy and Kevin Kurtz, Kristina and Phil Babyak, Emily Reynolds, Katlyn Reynolds, and Brady Reynolds, numerous great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister Myrtle Hanford of Nichols, NY, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Edwin's life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2pm at the Greater Valley Assembly of God Church, 104 South Main Street, Athens, PA. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Edwin's memory to: Greater Valley EMS, 904 North Lehigh Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840.
