Mary Lou Wright, 81, of Athens, PA passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Burlington County Manor. She was born on February 23, 1932 in Corning, NY the daughter of the late Graceson and Myrtle Black Stebbens. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed caring for her yard and garden. Mary Lou was a member of C.L.D.S., Towanda, 50 year member of the L.O.O.M. in Corning and Waverly, 50 year member of the V.F.W. in Corning and Sayre, 25 years with T.O.P.S. #646, Waverly, and 25 years as a K.O.P. in T.O.P.S. #646. She is predeceased by her husband John, daughter Johna Bobick and several siblings. Mary Lou is survived by her children Graceson and Judy Brotzman of Athens, PA, Aaron and Denise Brotzman of Athens, PA, Elwood and Suzanne Brotzman of White Post, VA, and Judy and Richard Winslow of Athens, PA, grandchildren Carl Brotzman of Sayre, PA, Dawn Sims of Gulfport, MS, and Aaron Brotzman of Altoona, PA, great-grandchildren Breana, Darien, Aerial, and Ashton, sister Lucille Barnstead of Elmira, NY, brother and his wife, Fred and Marjorie Black of Staten Island, NY, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 10am – 11am at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 11am with Bishop Daniel Bynak officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
