I have known your father all of my life. My grandfather, Harold Yingling, was the editor at the Times, and my mother, Evelyn Gleockner, was a reporter for a time. I used to hang around the office down by the bridge and watch the presses run or watch the typesetters work. I remember thinking your father was next to God - he was always so kind and sweet to that little girl! I last saw him while I was out to dinner with my mother - so that would have been more than 10 years ago now, and I still found him as gracious as ever. He was truly an icon and role model in the Valley and will be sorely missed. Please accept my sympathy. I will keep your family in my prayers. Kathy Gleockner
