Rose M. Guzinski, 94, of Athens, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at home. She was born on October 24, 1918 in Canoe Twp., Indiana County, PA the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Nastasi. Rose loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, which she continued to do into her 80’s, playing cards, and telling stories about her life growing up. She will be remembered for her ability to make people smile and laugh, and her witty personality. She is predeceased by her husband Edward Guzinski, brothers Nick and John, infant twin brother Rocco, and sisters Josephine, Minnie, and Mary. Rose is survived by her children Rosemarie Esposito of Elmira, NY, grandchildren Tina (Steve) Stueck of Dushore, PA, Jessica Satterly of Athens, PA, and Heather (Chad) Sindoni of Elmira, NY great-grandchildren. Austin, Dakota, Preston, Carter and Hailey, and her special caregiver Stacey Bedford. At Rose’s request there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
