Elda was my favorite client since late '60's thru 80's . Tough sounding but quite a nice lady who I really cared for.I was the first person to take Elda off the "Hill"to go shopping she picked out a wig and a pair of slacks then had lunch at a restaurant. she was so happy and handled everything well. It was a wonderful break through. Not all days were good but she at times would talk about her "baby". I miss not being her prime care person when I transferred to another unit, and she was able to leave the hill and go to another facuilty. I was happy that you found her, I miss her.
