Ina Mae Keene Wood, 78, of Sayre, PA passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre following an extended illness. She was born in Waverly, NY on September 7, 1935 to the late Robert D. and Florence Garlow Keene. Ina was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her friends and was always available to help anyone in need. She is predeceased by her first husband Thomas Dailey, grandson Robert Michael Young, Jr., sister Betty Jean Keene, brother-in-law John Ward, sister-in-law Marlene Keene, great-nephew Jordan Brown, and special friend Ralph Babcock. Ina is survived by her children Tammy and Rob Cullen of Owego, NY, Jeffrey and Vicky Dailey of Barton, NY, and Terri and Robert Young of Athens, PA, grandchildren Trisha and Dave Rosh, Tom and Sherri Howe, Jeffrey, Jr. and Dianna Dailey, Nicole Dailey and Jason Whitmarsh, Misty Welles, and David Young, great-grandchildren Kelsi Rosh, Hayden Howe, Cadence Gainous, Payton Whitmarsh, Jeffrey Dailey, III, Alissa, and Logan, siblings and in-laws Russell and Shirley Keene, Anna Keene Ward, Ronald and Janet Keene, Robert "Bobby" and Beverly Keene, and Richard Keene, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Fiday, December 20, 2013 from 6pm – 8pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 8pm with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, North Main Street, Athens, PA.
