Juanita Gray, 84, of Athens, PA passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Sayre Healthcare Center, Sayre following a brief illness. She was born on January 23, 1929 in East Smithfield, PA, the daughter of the late Ira and Bertha Brown Lewis. Juanita loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzle books and crocheting. She is predeceased by her granddaughter Amanda Rumsey in 1982. Juanita is survived by her children Vickie Rumsey of Mansfield, PA, David and Dorothy Gray of Athens, PA, Debra and Daniel Harbst of Towanda, PA, and James and Cheryle Gray of Lockwood, NY, 10 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 10am – 11am at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 11am with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luther Mills, PA.
