Charlotte "Diane" Wells North, 61 of Waverly, NY passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 28, 1952 in Waverly, NY the daughter of the late Howard and Marjorie Dean Wells. Diane worked and retired from the Sayre School District. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling and camping. She is predeceased by her great-niece Apryl Lowman. Diane is survived by her husband of 19 years Gordon at home, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lisa Wells of Sayre, PA, step-daughter Lisa North of Athens, PA, granddaughters Brittany Wells of VA and Courtney Wells of Sayre, PA, step-grandchildren Megan North and Cody North, .siblings and in-laws Duane Wells of Nichols, NY, Inga Wells of Athens, PA, Joann and Kirby McClain of Ulster, PA, Gary and Janet Wells of Gillett, PA, Larry and Penny Wells of Lockwood, NY, Arlene and Rick Reed of Athens, PA, and Dolores and Edward Ellis of Milan, PA, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, her companions dog Jiger and bird Puttsy. At Diane’s request there will no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Athens, PA. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA at the convenience of the family.
