Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight, must leave us and the world we know without their radiant light; but we know that like a candle their lovely light will surely shine…to brighten up another place, more perfect, more divine. Margaret M. "Peggy" Clark, 81, of S. Waverly, PA passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Sayre Healthcare Center. Peggy was born December 23, 1932 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late John and Margaret Boyle Madigan. She graduated from Sayre High School and worked at the Blue Swan and Ingersoll Rand. Peggy married Robert Clark on August 27, 1955 and together they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. She enjoyed making arts and crafts and singing. She was very outgoing and had a kind word for everyone. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandsons. She is predeceased by her husband Robert, September 13, 2013 and brothers John "Slip" Madigan and Bob Madigan. She is survived by her children Kathleen and Dennis Lippincott of Barton, NY, Patrick and Irene Clark of Moscow, PA and Susan and Jay Grossman of Columbia, MD; grandchildren Denise and Paul Stankavage, Jeanne and Joshua Reno, Adam Clark, Austin Clark, Michelle Grossman, and John Grossman, great-grandsons Ryan Lannon and Charles Reno, cousin Tom Norton, Lansing, NY sister in law Mary Kay Madigan-Ledue, Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews and the special staff at the Sayre Healthcare Center who were like her second family. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 9:30am at Epiphany Parrish, 304 South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
