Genevieve L. Wright, 84, of Sayre, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 31, 1929 in Evergreen, PA the daughter of the late Boyd W. and Evie Dauberman Moon. Genevieve attended New Albany and Towanda Schools. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Most of all Genevieve enjoyed spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her first husband George R. Wright, daughter Nancy Wright, sons Gary and Keith Wright, sister Elsa Moon Wright, and brother Merle Bair. Genevieve is survived by her children Kevin VanDuzer of Sayre, PA, Richard and Barbara Wright of Waverly, NY, Sandra and Bob VanDuzer of St. Pauls, NC, and Tammy Parker of Owego, NY, several grandchildren, and sisters Naomi Moon of Forksville, PA and Lois Moon of OR. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Ed Reichman officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
