Bobbi Jo Rockwell Chacona, 35, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at home following an extended illness. She was born on August 22, 1978 in Sayre, PA. Bobbi Jo was a loving wife, mother and step-mother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her daughters. She enjoyed scrapbooking, flower arranging, and gardening. Bobbi Jo graduated from Athens Area Schools in 1996 and then obtained her Associates Degree from Corning Community College. Bobbi Jo was a person who enjoyed life and did it her way. She is predeceased by her grandparents who raised her Henry and Helen M. Rockwell. Bobbi Jo is survived by her husband of 12 years Theodore C., Jr. at home, children Madisyn Alexandra and Peyton Leigh at home, step-daughters Brooke Ryan Chacona of Elmira, NY and Hailey Marie Chacona of Elmira, NY, father and mother-in-law Theodore C., Sr. and Mary Jean Chacona, sister-in-law Elizabeth Hicks Chacona, brothers-in-law Michael John Chacona of Sayre, PA, and Ethan John Chacona of Sayre, PA, special cousin Cammy Jo and Thomas Carman, nephew Joshua Michael Chacona and niece Morgan Elizabeth Chacona. Friends and family may call on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 12pm-1pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
