Nancy L, Hudson, 71, of Sayre, PA passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on September 30, 1940 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Charles A. and Naomi Gleockler Blemle. Nancy was a member of the Sayre Christian Church. She was employed with the Ingersoll Rand, Athens, retiring in 2003 after 37 years of service. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life revolved around her family. She was a member of the Friends of the Spaulding Memorial Library and the Red Hatters Society. She is predeceased by her husband William C. Hudson, Sr., her son Jay Cain, and sister Patricia Corl. Nancy is survived by her children Jeffrey Cain and Tracie Stout of San Jose, CA, Michele Cain of Waverly, NY, and Jody and Trudy Cain of Athens, PA, grandchildren Tricia Bodine of Waverly, NY, Tori and Taylor Cain of Dryden, NY, Dakoda and Charley Cain of Athens, PA, and Cameronallyn Denmark of Trumansburg, NY, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 4pm-6pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11am with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
