Obituary of Virginia Klusza
Virginia O. Klusza, 90 of Milan, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 15, 1921 in East Smithfield, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Mae Dunbar Ogden.
Virginia was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and St. Ann’s Altar and Rosary Society.
Virginia really enjoyed hand crafting quilts, needle pointing, crocheting and knitting Afghans, and painting icons and ceramics. She collected Hummel’s and Fenton Ware. Virginia was a member of Skiff Bower Post V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She is predeceased by her husband George, sister Kathryn Shaylor, and nephew Mark Shaylor.
Virginia is survived by her children George and Kathleen Klusza of Brick, NJ, Kathryn and David Craig of Milan, PA, Michael and Rose Klusza of Jacksonville, FL, and Lawrence and Janet Klusza of Clarks Summit, PA, grandchildren Matthew, Megan, Maureen, Patrick, Christine, Joseph, and Stephen, great-grandchildren Leia, Lance, William, Kathryn, Brian, Harrison, Shannon, and Riley, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 6pm-8pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Hope Church, Chapel Road, Ridgebury, PA.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery, Ridgebury, PA.
