Roger E. Plouse, Sr., 48 of Waverly, NY, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 23, 1963, in Corning, NY the son of Vine E. and Cora M. Calkins Plouse. Roger loved to gather with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR. He is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, brother Jeffrey, 2010, and brother-in-law Robert Eberlin. Roger is survived his mother Cora (Dean O’Connor) Plouse of Athens, PA, Vine, Sr. and Sally Plouse of Waverly, NY, children Tiffany (Jason) Orlowski of Waverly, NY, Roger Plouse, Jr. of Waverly, NY, Tasha (Tim) Plouse of Waverly, NY, and Tara Plouse of Waverly, NY, 9 grandchildren, fiancé Debbie Barber of Waverly, NY, siblings Roxanne Eberlin of Endicott, NY, Charlotte (Robert) Hamblin of So. Waverly, PA, Jennifer Plouse of Sayre, PA, Stephanie (Jackie Shaffer) Jordan of Sayre, PA, Vine Plouse, Jr. of Waverly, NY, and Bradley (Chrystal) Collins of MD, sister-in-law Michelle Plouse of Sayre, PA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and his faithful companion Jose. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11am at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Burial will be at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA. Memorial donations may be made in Rogers’s memory to: Jay E.
