Andrew G. "Andy" Ryck, 58, of Sayre, PA passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 21, 1953 in Sayre, PA the son of the late John and Edna Glosenger Ryck. Andy was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and also fishing with his grandchildren. His great enjoyment was working everyday with his sons in the family contracting business and was proud of the fact that his sons are continuing in the family business which he started 22 years ago. Andy served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #1148. Andy is survived by his wife of 37 years Patricia "Peach" at home, children Eric (Shannon) Ryck of Waverly, NY and Kevin (Sarah) Ryck of Waverly, NY, grandchildren Nathan and Erica, brother Michael (Kathy) Ryck of Waverly, NY and one niece. Friends and family may call on Friday, July, 29, 2011 from 6-8pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10am at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Martin officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery.
