Stephen R. Benting, Jr., 40, of Milan, PA passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at home. He was born January 4, 1971 in Harrisonburg, VA the son of Stephen R. Sr., and Pluma Golotty Benting. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, being outside and doing carpentry work. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents John and Betty Golotty and a son Alexander. Stephen is survived by his Fiancé Heather Anderson at home, children Stephanie Benting of Athens, PA, Stephen Benting, III of Elmira, NY, Janette Benting of New York, Blayze Benting of Milan, PA and Sayge Benting of Milan, PA, brothers Christopher Benting of Elmira, NY and John Benting of Canandaigua, NY, along with numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.
