Jane A. Smith, 91, formerly of Sheshequin Township passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Martha Lloyd in Troy, PA. She was born on April 3, 1920 in Sheshequin Township the daughter of the late Allen L. and Mary A. Sydney Smith. Jane loved to sing hymns and to be around animals. She enjoyed bowling and manicures. She is predeceased by brothers Adelbert, Sydney and Guy Smith, and a sister Ethel Smith Saxer. Jane is survived by sisters-in-law Mary Etta Smith and Rita Smith, nieces and nephews June Lane, Roy Smith, Lester Smith, Mary Anne Smith, Peggy Saxton, Bobby Saxer, Tommy Saxer, Donna Betts, Gary Smith, Guy Sydney Smith, Carl Smith, Susan Conner, Lorraine Delyser and several cousins. Friends and family may call on Monday, August 22, 2011, from 10am-11am at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 11am with the Rev. Lynn Ensign officiating. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA.
