Grace Joann Wayman, 77, of Sayre, PA passed away August 25, 2011 following an extended illness. She was born October 8, 1933 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Alton and Florence Brown Richards. Grace worked as a Nurses’ Aide at the Sayre House, Inc. for over 20 years. She was an active member of the Fort Sullivan Post American Legion #246, Athens, PA. She is predeceased by her husband Mose Wayman, and sisters Eva Baker and Dorothy Welch. Grace is survived by daughter Sheila Heines of Bristol, PA, grandchildren Annette Cavalari of Rocky Mount, VA and Joseph Westbrook of SC, great-grandchildren Dustin Westbrook and Edward Westbrook, and sister Ruth Taylor of Corning, NY. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours or services at this time. Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA is assisting the family.
