Obituary of Wealtha A. Vogle
Wealtha Ann Vogle, 78, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
She was born on November 10, 1935 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Earl E. and Edna M. North Cole.
Ann worked at as a waitress from 1964 at Sam's Mazza, Howard Johnsons, and Marriott's, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church. Ann loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and dancing. She was a member of the Sayre Senior Citizens and the Red Hatters.
She is predeceased by her sons Terry Lantz and Edward E. Vogle, Jr., great-grandchildren Kaylynn Browning and Micah Stanton, brothers Stanley Cole and Hugh Cole, sister Beverly Woods, niece Cheryl Lumb, and brother-in-law Bill Naugle.
Ann is survived by her children Cindy Felicita of Waverly, NY, Jeffrey Lantz of Waverly, NY, Shelia Liston of Ft. Meyers, FL, Dawn and Scott Bump of Monroeton, PA, daughter-in-law Karen Lantz of Waverly, NY, grandchildren Travis and Chrissy Lantz, Candice Keene, Tristen and Steven Stanton, Nealsha and Rob Lafritz, Tami Bowman, Lester Liston, Tori Lantz, Ashley Bennett, Natalie Brennan, Mary Baker, Samantha Walker, Nikki and Dean Frantz, and Carla and Mike Mente, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, sister Barbara Naugle of Chambersburg, PA, sister and brother-in-law Lucille and Douglas Folk of Rome, PA, sister-in-law Linda Cole of Ulster, PA, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her many special friends from Keystone Manor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2pm at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. with the Rev. Anne Bey Canfield officiating.
Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA at the convenience of the family.
