Pat Denise Tappan passed away after an illness at the Guthrie Medical Center on Friday, June 27, 2014. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived to serve her family. She is wife to Doug Tappan, Mother to Jimmer Tappan and Monica Chilson and their spouses Kelly Schrader Tappan and Mike Chilson. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: they called her Nomie: they are Rielly Tappan, Kaeli Tappan, Luke Tappan, Dylan Chilson, and Dawson Chilson. Pat's brother is Allen Abrams and her sister is Kathy Chapman. Her mother in law is Charlotte Tappan. Pat is preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Lynn Tappan, her father, John Abrams, and her father in law, James Tappan. Besides her constant care of her family, Pat loved to play bingo and found great joy in watching thunderstorms. A private burial will be at the preference of the family.
