Kiersta M. Fassett, 25, of Waverly, NY, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at home with her family there. She was born on October 29, 1988 in Sayre, PA the daughter of Robert G. and Deanna Fravel Fassett. Kiersta loved to travel, spend time outside, kayaking, and sitting by the bonfire with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping. Kiersta was employed as a Radiology Clerk at the Guthrie Clinic, Sayre. She is predeceased by her maternal great-grandparents Ken and Mary Fravel and Burton and Lucine Comfort, paternal great-grandparents Robert and Eva Hill and Owen and Mabel Fassett, and uncle Ron Fassett. Kiersta is survived by her parents Robert and Deanna Fassett of Waverly, NY, sister Brionna Fassett of Waverly, NY, nephew Colton Fassett of Waverly, NY, maternal grandparents Joseph and Sandra Fravel of Waverly, NY, paternal grandparents Ron and Roberta Fassett of Sayre, PA, aunts and uncles Sean Fravel and fiancé Karen Nelson of Waverly, NY, Pat and Ellen Fravel of OH, Dan and Mandy Fravel of Waverly, NY, and Joel and Andrea Fravel of VA, and several cousins. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 12pm-2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 2pm with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
