Charles "Chuck" E. Wells, Sr., 69, of Litchfield, PA passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1945 in Towanda, PA the son of the late James A. & Irene Hitchcock Wells. Chuck loved antique cars, enjoyed riding motorcycles and being outdoors. Chuck worked for Amerigas for over 20 years as a service technician and delivering propane. Chuck especially loved spending time with grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sister Virginia Swingle and his brother James A. Wells, Jr.. Chuck is survived by his wife of 48 years Darlene at home; children Charles E., Jr. and Joan Wells of Wellsburg, NY, Edwin E. and Laurie Wells of S. Boston, VA, Christopher E. Wells of Sayre, PA; grandchildren Sheryl Keithline, Joan and Darren Wagoner, Kendra and Alex Cituk, Robyn Johnston, Miriah and Colton Harkness, Kaitlyn Wells and Alyssa wells; 14 great grandchildren; and sister Marlene R. Kithcart; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 11am-1pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. Burial will be in the Herrickville Cemetery.
