Anna Jean Devine, 90, of Athens, PA passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1924 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late James and Sara Bennett Northrup. Anna worked for Ithaca Gun, prior to retiring. She loved spending time with her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing all types of guitars. Anna enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She is predeceased by her husband Christy Devine, son John Devine, sisters Marion Northrup and Edna Northrup, and brother Kenneth McKeal. Anna is survived by her children Christopher Devine and Wanda Fanilli of The Villages, FL, Robert Devine of Athens, PA, Gary and Stephanie Devine of Horseheads, NY, and Kenneth and Kathy Devine of Athens, PA, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. At the family's request, there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA at the convenience of the family.
