Louise A. Vanderpool, 80, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Friday, February 06, 2015, at the Sayre Healthcare Facility, Sayre. She was born on August 24, 1934 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Issac and Margaret Evans Harshbarger. Louise loved kids and enjoyed taking care of her family. She is predeceased by her husband Richard Vanderpool in 1963, brother Richard Harshbarger, and sister Penelopy “Penny” Callear. Louise is survived by her sister Carol Cole of Sayre, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2pm at Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Robert Flatt olfficiating. The family is being assisted by jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
