Obituary of Marjorie R. Williams

Marjorie R. Williams, 93, of Athens, PA passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Bradford County Manor following an extended illness. She was born on September 22, 1921 in Falls, PA the daughter of the late Asa and Genevieve Cary Nichols. Marjorie loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was very fond of babies. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, going camping, reading, and she loved to travel. She is predeceased by her husband Wreyburn Williams, brother and sister-in-law Don and Eunice Nichols, brothers Guy Nichols and Kenneth Nichols, sisters Elsie Roberts and Elnora Struble, daughter-in-law Mary Williams, special friend Nelson French, and brother-in-law Leon Roberts. Marjorie is survived by her children Clair and Lynda Williams of Athens, PA, Donald Williams of Elmira, NY, Wayne and Cathy Williams of Williamsport, PA, Martin and Jill Williams of Graham, NC, and Carol Jo Williams of Vestal, NY, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Olive Nichols of Orange City, FL and Marcella Nichols of Horseheads, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 11am-12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 12pm with the Rev. Kurt Brown officiating. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA at the convenience of the family.
