Gary "Chub" A. Bennett, Jr., 44, of Ulster, PA, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015. He was born on April 2, 1970 in Sayre, PA the son of Gary A. and Kathleen A. Roberts Bennett. Chub loved to spend time with family and friends, especially children. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan and followed the NY Giants and NY Yankees. Chub collected arrowheads in his spare time and loved to be around animals. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Charles and Beatrice Roberts and paternal grandparents Rose and Robert Bennett. Gary is survived by his children Gary A. Bennett III of Troy, PA, Matthew J. Bennett of Towanda, PA, Kiersten J. Winslow-Bennett of Waverly, NY, mother Kathleen Ann Bennett of Ulster, PA, father Gary A. Bennett of Monroeton, PA, brother and sister-in-law David and Lori Bennett of Athens, PA, sister and brother-in-law Tricia Bennett and Michael Cazassa of Towanda, PA, aunts and uncles Nancy and Ron Moore of Duncannon, PA, Carolyn Hurd of Waverly, NY, Sharon Pond of Nichols, NY, and Charles and Robin Roberts of Sayre, PA, nieces and nephews Katie, Kylie, Sierra, Bella, and, David, and several cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March, 21, 2015 at 2:00pm at the JE Wheelock Hose Company Fire Hall, 217 Frank Street, Sayre, PA.
