Dolores M. Doyle, 87, of Sayre, PA passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 following an extended illness. She was born on November 8, 1927, in Scranton, PA the daughter of the late John R. and Esther McCrea Reed. Dolores was a member of the Church of Epiphany. She faithfully participated in Adoration at the Church. Dolores loved to travel with her husband Frank of 49 years. She loved hosting get togethers with friends and family. She is predeceased by her husband Frank Doyle in 2000, brother Raymond Reed, and sister Joan Doyle. Dolores is survived by her children Ellen Doyle and Robert Bence of Stamford, VT, Kathleen and Steve Durst of Thompsontown, PA, Nancy and John Arty of Reading, PA, Mary and Gary Dorrell of West Chester, PA, James and Joy Doyle and family of Chemung, NY, and Michael and Susan Doyle of Pittsburgh, PA, grandchildren John Bence, Rebecca Farnsworth, Brian Arty, Eileen Arty, Abby Dorrell, Kate Dorrell, Alyssa Doyle, and Aidan Doyle, sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Robert Malarkey . Friends and Family may call on Sunday, May17, 2015 from 2pm-5pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:30am at the Catholic Community of Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Ave., Sayre, PA with the Rev. Vincent Langan officiating.
