Sharon J. Cole, 72, of Sayre, PA passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was born on May 19, 1943 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Wilbur and Alberta VanGorder Chandler. Sharon loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. She is predeceased by her husband Harold in 2011 and brother William Chandler. Sharon is survived by her children Karla and Chris McDuffee of Sayre, PA and Barb and Terry Catlin of Chemung, NY, granddaughters Taylor McDuffee and Meghan McDuffee, brother and sister-in-law H. Karl and Gloria Chandler, sister-in-law Barbara Chandler, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At the family's request a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
